What's the Right Internal Temperature for Cooking Chicken Wings?
When done, chicken wings should measure at least 165 degrees when you take their internal temperature with a meat thermometer. This is true whether your favorite chicken wing recipe is baked or deep-fried. It can be a little tricky to take the temperature of a chicken wing, depending on the size of your wings, but it's well worth a little effort to make sure that everyone in your family or at your game-day party is safe from salmonella.
