How long to cook Internal Temperature

What Is the Internal Temperature for Bone-In Ham to Make Sure It's Done?

Bone-in hams can come in two different styles, raw and pre-cooked, and which kind you're making will factor into the proper internal temp of ham with bone when it's done. Odds are good that your favorite baked ham recipe uses a pre-cooked ham, in which case the internal temperature should reach at least 140 degrees Fahrenheit before eating. But if you happen to be working with raw ham, it should have an internal temperature of 145 degrees before it's considered done.

In order to check the internal temperature of your bone-in ham, you'll need to use a meat thermometer. Insert the thermometer into the center of the meat, being careful not to touch the bone. If the thermometer reads 140 degrees for a pre-cooked bone-in ham or 145 degrees for a raw ham, then it's done and safe to eat.
