How Long to Boil Yucca

Yucca, also known as cassava, is a gluten-free root that provides numerous dietary benefits. It's high in potassium, B-vitamins, vitamin C, and several other nutrients. It's been shown to help with health issues such as high blood pressure, migraines, osteoarthritis, high cholesterol, and others.

Yucca can be prepared by boiling it. Start by filling a medium-sized pot with water and heating it to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add in the yucca root and allow it to boil for 15-25 minutes. You'll know it's done when it can easily be pierced by a fork and has taken on a yellow color.
