How Long to Cook Turkey Legs
It takes about an hour and a half to roast turkey legs. For the best results, set your oven to 350 degrees; using too high of a cooking temperature can dry out the meat. Bake the turkey legs skin side up for 30 minutes, then flip them over and roast them for another hour. You can be sure that they're done when a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh reads at least 165 degrees. The result will be golden brown, juicy turkey legs with a much shorter cooking time than you'd need for a whole roasted turkey!
